It’s creating efficient systems, it’s creating family compliance where it was once chaos, it’s etching out time for fun and play where there was once and endless to do list where ‘stress’ could be checked off multiple times. It’s clearing mental clutter and promoting restful sleep.  

I understand the overwhelm of feeling like you are everywhere at once and at any moment, you might drop one of those many balls you have up in the air. Turns out, I moonlight as a juggler. THE CONSULTATION 

In my world of being acutely aware of the small details whilst having a deep appreciation of clever design and being the stellar declutter-er and organiser that I am, there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. Each individual space is unique and different from the next, including those that live in it. 

We will begin your journey with an in-person consultation.  

Let’s chat about how the space makes you feel now and how you would like it to feel when we’re done. I want to know who and how you live in that space, how it’s used and the energy you would like it to hold. A little woo-woo but stay with me - these elements are what allow me to truly create a personalised result with systems and storage solutions that not only work, but that you are able to maintain long term.  

I will provide you with ideas, inspiration and a little motivation on the day and shortly afterward, your inbox will receive a detailed concept board brimming with suggestions about how we can transform your space.  

Your in-home consultation is $200. 

 

DECLUTTERING/ ORGANISING 

During the decluttering process, we will gently sort and declutter your space. Cleaning as I go, you can have comfort in knowing that this area will truly feel like a fresh, sparkly start.  

We will then implement the new systems that I have created specifically for you and if required, use new practical storage solutions that can be purchased on your behalf at an additional cost. 

Items for donation, recycling or waste can be taken on the day so that you don’t need to worry about having bags in your boot for 6 months with the intention of donating them. I got you.

Wife, Mama to our delicious son and coffee enthusiast who is deeply passionate about aesthetic and practical spaces, candy coloured sunsets on The Gold Coast and slow roasted coffee beans from Nicaragua. 

I am here to help you clear the mental clutter that’s taking up residence in list form on the ceiling at night and preventing you from spending time doing the things you love – like slow days with loved ones or watching Dead To Me with a wine – probably.  

My background includes a laundry list (minus the mismatched socks) of experience from State Visual Merchandiser to Homewares Buyer to Design Assistant to Hairdresser. The theme of creativity, connection and beauty is strong and runs through my veins – much like caffeine. 

I founded The Clutter Consultant after recognising the need for the service of organising, decluttering, and styling in homes as an *add all to cart* experience after we were all spending a little *too much* time at home during Covid. Then, more than ever, it was highlighted to me the direct link between cluttered and unorganised spaces and mental and emotional wellbeing.  

 
 
 

 FAQs

  • No, I want you to relax and use the time for the other things you want to do! You will be required to make decisions around what items to discard/donate – this is best at the beginning of the session. Remaining questions can be asked at the end of the session. At the end of the project, I will walk you through the layout, the products and the systems and any adjustments can be made if required.

  • This will depend on the scale of the project.

    As a guide, a pantry can take 4-6 hours or more. A garage can take 12 hours or more. I will always give an estimate of time prior to starting the job.

  • Yes! I can take care of all of the product sourcing and shopping. While I’m unable to get an exact estimate on product costs until we have completed the first stage of the project, products are passed onto you at RRP + 20%. If you prefer to buy your own products or repurpose what you have, that is totally fine too.

  • I Aim To Create A Space That Is Functional, Practical And Easy To Maintain. I Will Walk You Through Your Space Once It Is Complete And Talk Through The Maintenance.

    I also have customised maintenance packages available (quarterly, semi-annually, annually) to reset any space. This makes maintenance easy and stress-free.
